ELIXIR MoU now has signatures of 13 countries and EMBL

Czech Republic joins the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and 12 other nations in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) supporting ELIXIR. Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom have already pledged their support. Over the coming months these countries will work towards developing a legally binding International Consortium Agreement (ICA), which is planned to come into force in 2013.
